The product of accidental footage recorded from my red rain suit pocket was included in the Bonfire Labs 2015 reel. In its entirety, it serves as a reflection of my sensory commute to work, and is therefore categorized into three divisions: Outer World, where the exterior is recognizable, Inner Trip, where the images remind us of a scientific account of the inner workings of the human body and allude to our relationship to the bicycle as a mode of peak performance, and Inner Trip Blur, the most abstract and almost psychedelic footage which captures the moment when the immersion into thought and movement become inseparable. I had the luxury opportunity to have the editorial collaboration of one of the best editors on the West Coast, Robbie Proctor.
